Schenectady County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division is responsible for regulating specific aspects of daycare facilities licensed or registered with the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) under the New York State Department of Family Assistance, Environmental Health also provides consultation services to daycare operators to ensure that its facilities are safe and in compliance with the New York State Public Health Code.
