Project Safe Point can help you or a loved one access treatment while helping you find hope, and realize your recovery. Project Safe Point provides harm reduction services and educational support to individuals and families.

Even if you or someone you know is not ready to stop using just yet, Project Safe Point can help you explore options to minimize the risk of using and prevent harm. 

Education and Support for Families
If you have a family member who is struggling with using drugs or alcohol, we may be able to assist by providing education and resources for you and your family member.

Schenectady County Substance Use & Overdose Coalition

Our mission is to prevent substance abuse and to promote positive mental health. The Schenectady County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition was created by the Schenectady County Legislature, comprising of department leaders, community agencies, and concerned community members. The coalition maintains a Facebook page to keep the general community informed, provides presentations, works with community-based coalitions, and distributes resource materials throughout the county. Coalition staff are available to consult with and to collaborate with all residents of the County.
