How does a home visit work?

  • Participants are contacted on a first come first serve basis and a brief interview is conducted over the phone to better understand the needs of the home.
  • Then staff schedule a day and time to go to the participant's home to better understand the individual's concerns and provide education and health/safety supplies.
  • At the end of the home visit, relevant referrals/resources are provided to the participant to address their concerns if necessary.
