Health Insurance Information, Counseling, and Assistance

Are you turning 65, eligible for Medicare, or looking to renew your plan? Are you inundated with mail or tv ads which creates confusion when choosing a plan that meets your needs? If so, a Health Insurance Information, Counseling, and Assistance Program (HIICAP) may be able to help. A staff member or a volunteer can meet with you and provide objective and independent information, counseling, assistance, and advocacy. HIICAP will empower you with the information you need to make the best decision for you.

Do You Need Help with Prescription Coverage?

Do you have part D insurance plan? Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage (EPIC) might be for you. If you are 65 or older you may be eligible for a 60% or more savings on your prescription costs. When enrolling in the program, you may have a premium to pay or a deductible to meet. Income eligibility criteria, premiums and deductibles are subject to change.
