The theme links the foundations of the Civil Rights movement with the ongoing fight against injustice, inspiring residents of Schenectady County to take meaningful action toward a more just community.

Her span of work has ranged from domestic violence, HIV/AIDS awareness, self-love, suicide, and intriguing topics that always help to motivate and push the limits of theatre.
Albany Voices of Pride is the first and only mixed-voice LGBTQIAA+ chorus in the Capital Region. The group was formed in January 1995 as a program of the Capital District Gay and Lesbian Community Council, now the Pride Center of the Capital Region. From that small group of 19, AVOP has grown to over 50 voices.
