Welcome to An Artist's Perspective, a unique gallery exhibit at the Schenectady County Office Building, curated by the Schenectady County Human Rights Commission. An Artist's Perspective seeks to harness the power of the Arts to create impactful, thought-provoking statements that inspire change and spark meaningful conversations within the community about important issues such as climate change, women's rights, hate and bias, and immigration— all through a lens of social justice.

The gallery exhibit features a diverse range of visual art from both professional and community artists, showcasing talent from Schenectady County and beyond. Discover how you can submit your own work.

  • Theme: Human Rights & Social Justice
  • Open to all forms of visual art.
  • Artwork must resonate with issues of racial equality, social justice, and the fight for human rights.

  • Title of your work
  • Brief description of your submission.

*Videos must be under 3 minutes in length.
*Image files should be under 5 MB per image.
