Schenectady County Budget

2025 Adopted Operating Budget & 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program

Each year, the Schenectady County Manager prepares a Tentative Operating Budget and a Capital Improvement Program for the Schenectady County Legislature. Over the course of several public meetings, the Schenectady County Legislature reviews the budget, receives public comment, proposes amendments, and votes to adopt the budget for the year.
