The Schenectady County Legislature announced the winning floats, dance, and musical performances for the 55th Annual Holiday Parade Presented by the County and City of Schenectady. The awardees were presented with plaques and certificates from the Legislature.

More than 100 floats, marching bands, and performers participated in the parade, which took place in downtown Schenectady on November 23, 2024. The parade was produced under the leadership of County of Schenectady, with MVP Health Care as the premier sponsor, and in partnership with the City of Schenectady, Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation, and The Capital Region Chamber.

“This year marked the County’s third time hosting the beloved Holiday Parade, which continues to grow and improve each year thanks to the outstanding support of our partners, sponsors, volunteers, and first responders,” said Schenectady County Legislator Cathy Gatta, Chair of the Tourism, Arts & Special Events Committee. “Congratulations to this year’s awardees! Your dedication, along with the hard work of everyone involved, is what makes this parade such a beloved tradition for our community and visitors from across the Capital Region and beyond.”
