The Schenectady County Veterans Service Agency announced that it is hosting a Veterans Disability Claims Clinic to be held next week, offering Veterans and their families an opportunity to simplify the process of preparing and submitting claims for benefits they have earned. The clinic is designed to make navigating the claims process more accessible and less overwhelming for those who served our country.

“Filing a disability claim can be a daunting and complex process,” said Schenectady County Legislator Holly Vellano, Chair of the Military Affairs & Veterans Committee. “This clinic provides Veterans and their families with streamlined, one-on-one assistance to help them access the benefits they’ve rightfully earned through their service.”

The clinic will be held on:

Date: Thursday, January 30, 2025
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Location: Hon. Karen B. Johnson (Central) Library, McChesney Room
Address: 99 Clinton Street, Schenectady, NY 12305

Appointments are required for this event. Veterans and their families are encouraged to call (518) 377-2423 with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
