Schenectady County COVID-19 Update: Frog Alley

Multiple positive COVID-19 cases have been associated with the Skeeter Creek music event at Frog Alley Brewery on November 25, 2020. If you attended this event you should monitor yourself for symptoms of COVID-19 and consider getting tested. If symptoms do develop, stay home and call your doctor, and SCPHS at (518) 386-2824 option 2, for further guidance.

If you are elderly, have underlying medical conditions, or are immunocompromised, call your doctor early even if your illness is mild. In an emergency call 911. Testing is also widely available, and anyone can get tested for COVID-19 by visiting one of the clinics listed at https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/find-test-site-near-you.

SCPHS offers no-cost community testing on Thursdays in December at SUNY Schenectady’s West Parking Lot (78 Washington Ave., Schenectady) from 9am to 1pm. Appointments are strongly encouraged, but not necessary. Call (518) 419-0370 to register. Check www.schenectadycounty.com/covid19 for cancellations due to weather.

Protect yourself and others by wearing a face covering while in public when social distancing is not possible, especially on public transport, in stores, on crowded sidewalks, or when working and have direct contact with members of the public. Continue to wash your hands often, cover coughs and sneezes, and disinfect surfaces frequently.
