Help Save Lives During National Blood Donor Month
All Blood Types Are Needed

Roll up a sleeve to help patients in need!  Someone in the U.S. needs blood every two seconds, so supplies must be constantly replenished.  The need for blood during the winter is high, but supply is often at its lowest. Become a blood donor and give blood this month.  Your donation could help give someone in Schenectady County a second chance at life during an emergency or help a patient with a serious medical condition, like cancer. According to the Red Cross, donors with all blood types are needed, especially those with types O negative, A negative, and B negative.

Appointments are required. For more information visit RedCrossBlood.org.
