The County of Schenectady has the following bidding opportunities available. Unless otherwise stated in the bidding documents, all bids must be delivered to the Purchasing Department-2nd Floor, 620 State St., Schenectady, NY. Late bids will not be accepted. Bids openings are a public meeting and may be attended by anyone interested. Bid openings are typically conducted in the County Legislative Chambers unless specified differently.

Schenectady County Public Works Underground Fuel Tank Replacement Project
The County of Schenectady will be accepting bids for the replacement of three 12,000 gallon single wall fiberglass underground fuel tanks with three 10,000 gallon double wall underground fuel tanks. The work will include the complete replacement of the existing tanks as well replacement of the pipes leading to the pumps as well as adding sumps to the existing fuel pumps. The proposed project is located at the Schenectady County Public Works Facility, 100 Kellar Avenue, Schenectady, NY 12306. Bids submitted should include all of the work necessary to complete the project as a single bid.

This project includes the Rehabilitation of Taxiway E, F, & K at Schenectady County Airport. The project
consists of the mill and overlay of existing asphalt pavement for Taxiway E, Taxiway F, and Taxiway K. It also includes miscellaneous full-depth repairs which consist of concrete removal, and replacement of subbase course material and bituminous asphalt. Also included is the replacement of the existing airfield electrical system for each taxiway, which consists of conduit, wiring, taxiway edge lights, constant current regulators, and the removal of existing, and installation of new airfield guidance signs on concrete bases. Additionally, placement of taxiway pavement markings and taxiway grooving will be included in this project.
