Submission Deadline is January 8, 2025

The Schenectady County Human Rights Commission (SCHRC) is excited to announce a call for submissions for its 2025 Crucial Community Conversations Series An Artist Perspective. The series will use expressive artforms to make big, attention-grabbing statements that influence, challenge, and inspire community conversations on issues such as climate change, reproductive rights, choice, and immigration through a human rights lens.

"We invite Schenectady County artists to share their creativity and perspectives through art that highlights the critical issues affecting our community," said Arthur Butler, Executive Director of the Schenectady County Human Rights Commission. "This is a chance to join a community of voices that are making a statement and contributing to the conversation about the importance of these issues in our world today."
