The Schenectady County Legislature is partnering with the Schenectady County Historical Society to host the annual 4th on the Third Independence Day Celebration at the historic Mabee Farm in Rotterdam Junction.
Celebrate our country’s independence at this family-friendly event that features live music, a spectacular firework show overlooking the Mohawk River, and a variety of local crafters and food vendors. Local 11 will play fan-favorite songs starting at 6:00 p.m. and fireworks will start at approximately 9:00 p.m.
“Spread your blanket on the lawn and enjoy live music, family fun, and a spectacular firework show at our 4th on the Third Independence Day Celebration,” said Schenectady County Legislator Cathy Gatta, Chair of the Tourism, Arts & Special Events Committee. “This event is a fun opportunity to explore the historic Mabee Farm, shop local crafters, meet farm animals, and soak in summertime at this picturesque spot along the Mohawk River.”
