The County will be applying for the BJA FY 2023 Edward Byrne JAG Program - Local Solicitation again. This year's grant amount for the County and City as disparate jurisdictions is calculated by formula and is $46,314. It has historically been shared by the County and City of Schenectady, and is utilized by the DA's Office and the Police Department in efforts aimed at pubic safety.
