Run The Runway Community Day

UPDATE: Due to the expected forecast for Saturday, we've made some adjustments to our Run the Runway Community Fun Day: The 5k and 1-mile fun run will take place on the runway starting at the normally scheduled time. Entrance to the Empire State Aerosciences Museum (ESAM) will still be free for everyone all day (Saturday, October 7). Event partners 109th Airlift Wing and Best Fitness will be in ESAM's community room from 10:00am to 1:00pm, along with the Schenectady Sheriff’s Office, who will offer Safe Child ID sign-up.
Soar into a day of fun at the Schenectady County Airport with the Empire State Aerosciences Museum and the 109th Airlift Wing. Discover the incredible world of aviation and get up close to an array of aircraft, from vintage classics to high-flying military planes. Enjoy live music on the tarmac, food, a bounce house, an obstacle course, K-9 demonstrations with the Schenectady County Sheriff's Department, and activities with members of the 109th Airlift Wing. Learn about the special mission of the 109th and follow the history of aviation with free admission to ESAM.
The Run the Runway Community Day is FREE and Open to the Public.
You do not have to participate in the 5K or Kids Fun Run to enjoy this FREE community event.
