The Schenectady County Sheriff K-9 Unit
The Schenectady County Sheriffs K9 Unit specializes in providing the county with trained and certified teams in explosive detection and narcotics detection, along with criminal apprehension. The unit augments law enforcement, carrying out multiple tasks with legitimate law enforcement objectives. All our teams are used throughout the county to serve all townships and the city of Schenectady. We also assist outside the county when called for assistance.
